I disabled hibernation which pushed me above 11GB but it still crashes. I've had Darthmod installed about a year ago, since then I've dabbled in a little TROM3 and Radious at one point. I definitely haven't used Darthmod this year and have reinstalled my OS including formatting my games drive (D: ) since my last play with it. TROM3 and Radious get manually placed in the data folder and must be manually deleted to uninstall them, the game detects them and throws the modded flag, something which I don't have. Empire: Total War takes the Total War franchise to the eighteenth century Age of For the first time in the Total War series, you will be able to intuitively command single ships or I have some problems in the finishing process of installation. When i want to install. Category: Mods/Addons. A quick and simple way of unlocking all the available factions in Empire: Total War. Here is an image of my data folder if you wish to check it over. Just to add a little information, I forgot to mention I have enabled and disabled DEP for Shogun2.exe and other exe's in its folder a few times, they make no difference but I know the style of the crash is similar to what my sister used to get with Sims 3 that was caused by DEP being enabled. As a last bit of likely unhelpful information I have defragmented my drive and it is 0% fragmented now. Still no difference though. Current behaviour is for Chrome (my default browser) to open another window (not a tab), then do nothing. When I click on a web link in an email in Outlook for Mac, it has stopped opening correctly. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. Cannot open links in outlook express. I can manually copy the hyperlink in Outlook and paste into a Chrome tab and that works - but that's not the point. Anybody have a solution to get it Reset Chrome settings to default. If this issue persist, we have dedicated support channel for Outlook for mac issues. You can contact them Outlook for. Also in the writing of this post I freed up an extra 10GB so I have 20GB free on my C: drive and the game doesn't care. EDIT: Yes I have hidden files and folders displayed. That is everything in that folder. Nope, nothing changed. It may be worth noting though that every time I verify the integrity of Shogun 2 steam always downloads 25.7MB regardless of whether all files verified fine or not, I tracked this down to Shogun2.dll since that is the only file that matches the download size. Steam has done this since I first got the game at release, I've always been curious why it insists on downloading Shogun2.dll every time after telling me everything is fine. Weird, it shouldn't be redownloading the Shogun2.dll every time you verify. You've deleted both.blob files in the Steam folder so Steam should be up to date, and you ran Steam as admin. Do you have any crash dump files that coincide with the times of the crashes? They should be located at: C: Program Files (x86) Steam steamapps common total war shogun 2 If you do, attach them here and I'll have a look at them. If not, try this, as it worked for another user. It's a long shot, so let me know if it doesn't work and we'll try something else: 1) Re-enabled 'Application Experience' in Administrative Services 2) Deleted the folders in User/AppData/Roaming/The Creative Assembly/Shogun 2 3) Deleted my Shogun2.dll(event viewer gave error with this file) and then re-verified integrity. Oh my actual god. It is still crashing! I've reinstalled Windows, installed SP1 and all the latest updates, Steam and Firefox Nightly. That is literally all! Something weird is going on here. EDIT: OK what is going on?! It's working now. But nothing has changed between it working and it not working on this new installation! I don't know what the hell is happening but for some reason it has decided to work. I guess that makes it worth losing all my savings since February because of a faulty bloody backup. Thank you Nicklaus, I appreciate the effort you put into trying to help me, certainly more than can be said of some company's and I hope you never have to deal with such a problem again. I'll be sure to shake your hand when I inevitably apply for a job at CA!
